There’s a library somewhere in the deepest recesses of the Earth. Centuries of extravagant, sordid and sometimes grotesque legends have grown up. Demons, monsters, fools, wild beasts, gods. Every supernatural being could be found down there.
It is even rumored that this place could be the source of the end of the world. All countries dreamed of taking possession of this legendary place. However, the world changed when someone crossed into these forbidden lands.
In the centre of the room stood a book, much smaller than the millions of others that lay dormant here. On the cover it read: Déjà vu. Blaise, an ordinary human being, had by chance, unlucky though he was, wished to explore some ancient ruins. Does this mean the end of him?

Introduction
Tuesday, April 2nd ????, 10:46 PM
Subterranean library, aisle no. ????
The sound of footsteps was all that resonated in the endless aisles. The architecture looked to be a harmonious blend of influences from the four continents.
“It looks like the intersection of worlds and centuries, the true history of the Earth” thought the boy quietly.
Blaise, an average human being, had accidentally, and unluckily, decided to explore some ancient ruins. His exploration was soon shortened by a sudden fall into a deep pit. So here he was, walking around for ten hours in the hope of one day finding his way back to the surface.
Wednesday, April 3 ????, 02:04 AM
Subterranean library, archive room.
A vast room revealed itself to the young man, exhausted by walking, thirst and hunger. In his sights, books as endless as the horizon, bookcases hundreds of meters high, but where had he landed?
“I’ll rest here… Hold?” Suddenly, in the heart of the room, a book appeared, much smaller than the millions of others slumbering here. On the cover was written : “Déjà vu”.
A few pages dropped from Blaise’s fingers, and the book began to glow increasingly. The boy felt absorbed, but did this mean the end?
He was completely wrong, an incredible adventure awaited him.
Tutorial
Blaise’s dialogue to add context, a scenario
Blaise : Wha-? Where am I?
Narrator : Blaise looked up at the sky.
Blaise : Why, I recognize that impressive appearance in the dark colors! This is… Matsumoto Castle, you mean I’ve been taken to its gardens?
Narrator : Quickly, the young hero realizes that this wasn’t the only issue.
Blaise : No way, the castle’s still under construction! Wow, what the hell is this attire, and that weapon is obviously not a replica!
Narrator : Indeed, Blaise was teleported in 1594 during the Sengoku era in Japan. Built between 1593 and 1594, Matsumoto Castle is now one of the last twelve authentic castles in inland Japan. Famous for its black color, it is nicknamed “The Raven” for this reason.Blaise: Don’t panic, let’s go to the castle and see if anyone can help me.
Explanation tutorial
You’ve landed in a hostile world from which you must escape. To move around, a White Grimoire will show you the right path. Move it while interacting with the screen. Blaise will instinctively move towards it – what blind trust!
Blaise: My clothes may have changed, but I don’t seem to have lost my skill. Let’s give it a try!
In your run, you’ll encounter enemies who are offensive against you, so fighting is not an option. Blaise targets and shoots, based on a visible marking on the ground, which will always move in the direction of the enemies closest to him.
Blaise : I’ve never used a weapon in my life, but I guess I’ve got no choice.
Gameplay
Congratulations! You’ve defeated all the enemies in the area. The exit door is now open. Keep your eyes open, as the objects on the floor can be collected, giving you access to new skills as well as a few surprises! Please note: there’s no turning back once you’ve left a room!
Blaise : Phew, that was close!
Blaise’s life is at the upper left of the screen. If all the containers are empty, it would mean the end of our story.
Chest opening
A chest with unknown secrets stands in the center of the room. Do you have the courage to open it and find out what’s inside?
Blaise : Maybe it’s a trap. If I do what I did in The Legend of Zeldo, I’ll probably get an object! But no, come on Blaise, you’re definitely not in an adventure game!
Dialogues
Dialogue on first entry into the store
Blaise : …
Blaise : Really? There are no enemies here? What a blessing, a little rest will make me feel better!
Shopkeeper : Welcome, little stranger.
Blaise : AH!
Shopkeeper : Please put the gun down, I’m just a simple trader.
Blaise : In the middle of a bamboo field…?
Shopkeeper : Young people always have to rub it in, but let’s just say I’ve been banished from the castle. It’s a long story.
Blaise : And that’s supposed to reassure me?
Shopkeeper : Relax, you’ll find everything you need to continue your adventure here, and we’ll talk about me later. As long as you pay, you can stay as long as you like.
Blaise : Great… Thanks, I guess…
Narrator : Welcome to the Shop! Guide Blaise to an item and buy it with the coins you’ve collected so far.
Meeting with the final boss
Blaise : How silent…
Narrator : A strong wind blew Blaise over, and he felt a hand on his shoulder. The atmosphere changed drastically, making Blaise’s body vulnerable.
Blaise : Who are you?
???? : I’m the master of this domain, known as the Raven. State your identity, soldier.
Blaise : Me? How should I put it… I’m just a simple traveler…
Raven : An armed traveler, who do you think I am, you fool? Soldiers, eliminate this invader!
Narrator : A silence envelops the room.
Raven : Why isn’t anyone answering?! Don’t tell me… you’ve killed them all? Fine, I’ll kill you myself.
